Staff accommodation building Trofana Royal

In Ischgl, every tourist season means the need for seasonal workers is also increasing. In spring 2018, the Hotel Trofana Royal contracted Goidinger Bau for construction works on a residential building for seasonal workers. A staff accommodation building with a 1,300m² garage and five upper floors was constructed.

Slope water created initial difficulties for the excavation and delayed the construction start. Flexible thinking on the part of construction management meant that the planned construction period, which had been tight from the outset, could still be observed. Regulatory stipulations, such as a ban on excavation works during the summer months, constituted a further challenge for this complex construction process.
