Monte Laa – building sites 3 and 5

Until the end of 2017, an office tower, two residential towers and two low-rise buildings will be erected in Vienna’s Monte Laa urban development area. The office tower will be 33 storeys high and partially extend over Vienna’s A23 inner-city motorway. The residential towers with their height of up to 100m will feature 32 and 21 storeys, respectively, the low-rise buildings up to ten.

The building site’s soil conditions required to execute the project on a pile and raft foundation and use the cut-and-cover construction method. The integration of central safety installations for all building parts was executed particularly well. Thus, power supply, sprinkler central and emergency power supply are optimally used by the entire building complex.
