PORR has been represented with a branch office in Doha City since 2011. Together with our local partners, we have been entrusted with realising the country’s most important infrastructure projects – including the construction of the Doha metro and the Al Wakrah Stadium, the main venue of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Back in 2012, the Green Line of the Doha metro represented the largest acquisition in our corporate history. Since then PORR has established itself as one of the most renowned international construction companies in the region. This success has been based on strategic partnerships with local companies, coupled with our comprehensive technical knowhow in the infrastructure sector. In strategic terms, our focus is on projects where our expertise is the decisive factor. The main export product here is tunnelling and railway construction.
