As total contractor, PORR built four apartment buildings and two underground garages in a former industrial area in the west of Lausanne. Amidst an urban mix of flats, offices, shops and commerce, the Parc du Simplon in Renens offers a forward-looking place to live.
In the four- and five-storey buildings with a floor area of 7,330 m², a total of 70 residential units were created with different types of living and standards - from lofts for flexible use to family flats and attractive attic flats.
The buildings are located in a well-developed area and have a convincing modern look. The architectural design with ceramic facades glazed in different colours is reminiscent of the history of the location and its former industrial use.
