Malvazinky D wing annexe
Prague, Czech Republic / 03.2012 - 12.2012
A new wing was added to the Malvazinky Rehabilitation Clinic in the Prague 5 municipal district. The building comprises a basement floor and three upper floors. The ground floor is used for consultations, while the first and second floors contain patient rooms. Technical rooms and therapeutic treatments halls are located on the basement floor.
Construction works had to be carried out around the ongoing operation of the hospital. It was important to ensure that this was disrupted a little as possible. From an engineering point of view, the project involved the addition of a reinforced concrete framework with gas limestone exterior wall filler panels.
