Förolach aquaculture facility

Förolach aquaculture facility is one of the most modern fish breeding firms in Austria. The facility specialises in the production of Austrian Alpine Salmon and produces an average of approx. 80t annually. Fresh water required is sourced from a well on site and provides for optimum conditions for the salmon thanks to its excellent quality and low temperature. Feeding takes place via an automated pipe system in the individual tanks.

With its 16 circular tanks and two snaking flow-through tanks, the facility meets the respective requirements of the different breeding phases and provides optimum conditions for the successful breeding of fish.
