Vienna, 20 November 2017 – Today the Nomination Committee of the Supervisory Board nominated Andreas Sauer as a member of the Executive Board and new CFO of PORR AG with effect from 1 February 2018. The requisite resolutions are set to be passed in the Supervisory Board meeting on 6 December 2017.
Andreas Sauer (49) graduated in economics from the University of Mannheim, gaining his MBA in 1995. He began his career at Deutsche Bahn before taking up management positions at Stinnes, Schenker and Infineon. His most recent position has been as the successful CFO and Senior Vice President of Nokia Mobile Networks. Sauer has comprehensive experience in the fields of integration, transformation and project management.
“PORR has made four crucial acquisitions this year. I am delighted to have Andreas Sauer on board, an expert with a proven track record as CFO. He brings precisely the experience PORR needs for our integration and transformation process”, said Karl-Heinz Strauss, CEO of PORR AG.
The Investor Relations department at PORR will also be reorganised with immediate effect; it will become a top-level management division. From 1 January 2018 Milena Ioveva will be Head of Strategy and Investor Relations, with a direct reporting line to the CEO. Ioveva is currently Head of Investor Relations at UBM Development AG. Prior to this, she was responsible for capital market relations at PORR during the long period of share growth.
